#18 – Go to the Drive-In

When I was a kid, we used to go to the drive-in once every summer while we were camping.  There is something so quaint and fun about drive-ins, and the experience is just as good now as it was when I was younger.

We saw Now You See Me (OK) and Fast and the Furious 6 (terribly awesome).  Since we went on a Saturday, it was a triple bill, but we left before Identity Thief.  We ate a lot of concession food, hollered at the screen all we wanted, repeated the bad one-liners (basically the entirety of FF6) and thoroughly enjoyed the retro intros and intermission videos.

We went to Fonthill’s Canview Drive-In, and I was especially surprised that they have a vegan/vegetarian menu.  While they were out of stock on a few things, it was great to be able to enjoy a vegan sausage and not just be limited to popcorn.

Details: We went to Fonthill’s Can View Drive-In, details can be found here.  A complete list of all drive-ins in Ontario can be found here, including Toronto’s Polson Pier Drive-In.

Glad you enjoyed your visit! Our vegan grill options had just launched and were a lot more popular than we expected! All of our vegan items will be back in stock just in time for Canada Day Weekend and will continue to be in stock for months to come.

Good luck with your challenge. What a sweet idea!
