#28 – Take an archery lesson at Casa Loma

After trekking through a questionable tunnel, convinced we hadn’t heard the directions correctly, we arrived in Casa Loma’s carriage house, where our archery lesson would take place.  Run by Shawn Adams, this class was great.  We both loved it, and thought Shawn was a great teacher, giving each participant personal instruction and encouragement.

We will definitely do this again, and it’s great to find something that we equally enjoy to do together.  We highly recommend taking this workshop!

Details: Archery workshops run at Casa Loma Saturday & Sundays, twice a day.  The classes are limited to 10 participants and sell out quickly.  Available dates and times can be found here.

  1. I’m super jealous of this one…. Oh man, super fun

    • Dude, you would love it. It was so fun. They have classes all through October, you should check it out!

Any ideas of when it’s coming back? It’s not on their website anymore and I really want to try. Thanks.

      • Hi there!
No idea, unfortunately! I did notice when we were booking that the sessions are removed from the website as soon as they are full, and then new sessions are added (presumably based on Shawn’s availability). The sessions are very small, just 10 participants at a time, so they do fill up quickly. Maybe give Casa Loma a call?

Hello and thanks. I did give them a call and they got no idea when the next set of sessions are. So I think you’re right. It should based on Shawn’s availability (or whoever else that might be holding it).

    Great website, btw.

    • Hi Amanda – unfortunately it looks like they aren’t offering the program any more. Maybe try emailing Shawn directly (bullseyeadams@yahoo.com) and see if he’s offering it at another location.
