Last night we hit up Medieval Times; dinner theatre that includes jousting knights, eating with your hands, and encouragement of rowdy behaviour. This will only be enjoyable if you go with the right attitude; yes, it’s cheesy and pretty tourist-y, but with a fun group ready for a few drinks and prepared to get loud and rowdy, it’s a fun time.
Once we hit the bar and bought the $84 (blatant exaggeration) collectable goblet full of non-medieval style cocktails, we headed to our front row table to cheer on the Blue knight. After a tense joust, and on foot battle, our knight was beat (we tried not to be sore losers about it), but before that he gave our lovely friend Susanne a flower (how could he resist, really?).
All in all a very fun night with excellent people; thanks to Trevor, Sean, Laura and Susanne for coming with!
