This one has proved the most challenging to get done; twice we’ve been foiled by the weather, first by the recent ice storm and then a mild day melting all the snow in Toronto. So today was our third attempt and we headed up to Collingwood, back to the Blue Mountain Scenic Caves and their winter Nordic Centre.
It was a beautiful day, though a mighty cold one at -16 before the wind chill. We bundled up like 5 year-olds at recess (at least I did), and then hiked the trails.
Details: We rented snowshoes from the Blue Mountain Scenic Caves Nordic Centre and hiked through their trails. Information can be found here.
