#63 – Colonel Sam Smith’s skating trail

The deep cold we’ve had this past week finally lifted to a balmy 0 degrees yesterday, so to celebrate we hit up the Colonel Sam Smith skating trail.  Really nice ice, and the figure eight shaped trail is large enough to keep it interesting for a while.  Thumbs up from us!

Details: The Sam Smith skating trail is at 3145 Lake Shore Blvd (near Kipling).  There is plenty of parking, and a nice heated change space to put on your skates.  More information can be found here.

I went skating there for the first time last year and it was so fun on the figure 8! Much more exciting than your regular rink (but way harder to stop).
