While we were driving out to the country north of Milton, passing signs for the “Subway Museum”, Adam and I were wondering what we had got ourselves into. This museum definitely made the weird list. There are three vintage streetcars from different eras that are operational, and run in succession out to a loop that has a streetcar graveyard, plus one that’s been converted into an ice shop. There’s a big barn housing subways, streetcars and rail cars throughout history. The staff are super enthusiastic and love the subject matter.
With a good dose of irony, we did have a lot of fun here, but we found it kind of pricey for what it was. That being said, the other patrons who were there were clearly enthusiasts, and totally loved it, so to each his own, right?
